On a 12 V system — RV, boat, cabin — the question is not only capacity but visibility. Victron's Smart LiFePO4 has Bluetooth built in: open VictronConnect on your phone and you see each cell's voltage, temperature, current and full history.

That transparency has practical value. A drifting cell is spotted months before failure, and the balancing BMS corrects it automatically. On a black-box battery with no communication, the same problem only shows up the day the system stops.

At 200 Ah and 12.8 V this module delivers 2.56 kWh with more than 2.4 kWh usable. It parallels or series-connects up to 48 V and integrates directly with Victron chargers, MPPTs and monitors over the VE.Bus.
