2 Volt Gel Battery Cell

2 volt gel battery cells, from 500 to 3000 amp-hours each. They are wired in series to build a bank: six cells give 12 V, twenty-four give 48 V, at whatever capacity you chose up front.

OPzV tubular-plate gel technology is what goes into installations you do not want to revisit. No watering, no acid fumes, genuine tolerance of repeated deep discharges, and a service life counted in years rather than cycles when the bank is properly sized. It is the classic choice for a remote site, a telecom station or a farm building.

Two caveats. Weight first: a 1000 Ah cell approaches sixty kilos and a full bank needs floor support and a handling plan. Then cold: gel loses usable capacity below freezing, so plan a tempered room or oversize accordingly. These cells are a special order — call us with your target capacity and bank voltage.
