We stock several photovoltaic modules and pick one with you rather than leaving you to guess. A panel’s wattage, open-circuit voltage and footprint depend entirely on what it feeds, the controller behind it and the space you have.

At our latitude, two points outweigh headline efficiency. The first is snow load: the frame and glass must be certified for what a Quebec roof takes in February. The second is tilt: an array at 50 or 60 degrees produces less in summer than one at 35, but it catches the low January sun and sheds its own snow — which, over the year of an off-grid system, matters more.
