Our commitment

Sol-Air Tech collects only what is needed to process your orders and answer you. We never sell or rent your personal information, to anyone.

Information we collect

• Account and order — name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number.
• Payment — handled directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
• Browsing — pages viewed and anonymised technical data, used to fix problems and improve the site.
• Newsletter — your email address, only if you subscribe.

How we use it

This information is used to prepare and deliver your orders, issue invoices, answer your requests, manage warranties and, where you consented, send you our tips and new arrivals. No decision about you is made on a purely automated basis.

Sharing

Your information is shared only with the partners required to fulfil the order: the carrier, the payment processor and our transactional email service. Each is bound by contract and only receives what it needs. It may also be disclosed where the law requires it.

Retention

Order records are kept for seven years, as Canadian tax rules require. Data from an inactive account and newsletter addresses are deleted on request, at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies that are essential to the cart, the session and the language, plus aggregated audience measurement. Your browser lets you block them; the cart and sign-in will then stop working.

Your rights

Under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and PIPEDA, you may access your information, have it corrected, request its deletion, withdraw your consent or obtain its transfer. We respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is fully encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes, and access to customer files is limited to the people who need it.
