Displayed prices are before tax. The 5% GST applies everywhere in Canada and the 9.975% QST is added for delivery in Québec. The total including tax and shipping is always shown before payment.

Yes, to all ten provinces and the three territories. Allow 2 to 5 business days in Québec and Ontario, 4 to 8 in the Maritimes, 5 to 9 in the Prairies, 6 to 10 in British Columbia and 10 to 20 to the territories and remote regions.

Standard shipping is included for zones 1 to 4, with no minimum purchase. Only remote zones and palletised shipments carry a surcharge, calculated and displayed before payment.

Upright on a pallet, strapped and banded, by LTL carrier — never by standard courier. Delivery is curbside: the driver does not carry the panels. Plan for two people and inspect the pallet before signing.

The shipping email contains the carrier and the tracking number. You can also use our tracking page with your order number, without signing in.

Report it within 48 hours with photographs of the packaging and the contents. For a pallet, write the reservation on the delivery slip before signing: without it the carrier rejects the claim.

With your daily consumption in kWh, not with your roof area. Add up each appliance's power multiplied by its hours of use. That figure drives both panel power and battery capacity; everything else follows from it.

For 3 to 6 kWh per day, allow 600 W to 1 kW of panels and 4 to 8 kWh of storage at 24 V. That is the usual format for a seasonal second home with lighting, refrigeration and a pump.

At 10 to 20 kWh per day you need 4 to 8 kW of panels and 15 to 20 kWh of battery at 48 V. Above 20 kWh per day you move to 8 kW and up, almost always with a backup generator for December and January.

12 V for an RV or a cabin, 24 V for a seasonal cottage, 48 V for any permanent home. The higher the voltage, the lower the current: thinner cable, lower losses and a cheaper installation at equal power.

On average 3.5 to 5.5 peak sun hours per day, depending on province and season. Winter output is far below summer output: a year-round system is sized with extra battery reserve or a generator.

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) for any permanent installation: around 6,000 cycles against 500 to 1,200, 90% usable capacity against 50%, no maintenance and a third of the weight. Lead-acid only still makes sense for very occasional use on a tight budget.

It discharges without trouble down to -20 °C, but it must never be charged below 0 °C without built-in pre-heating: that is the leading cause of failure in Québec and a standard warranty exclusion. Put it in a tempered room or choose a model with internal heating.

Ten to fifteen years in normal residential use, or around 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge — whichever comes first. The built-in BMS cuts charging and discharging outside the safe range.

Never put it in the garbage or the municipal recycling bin. Bring it to a Call2Recycle drop-off point, found in most hardware stores and eco-centres in Québec. We can also point you to the nearest one.

An array tilted at 45° or more largely sheds snow on its own and captures the low winter sun better. Never scrape the surface with a rigid tool: an invisible micro-crack in the cells reduces output for the rest of the panel's life.

The free and unwaivable legal warranty of the Consumer Protection Act applies on top of the manufacturer's warranty: 12 to 25 years on panels, 5 to 10 years on inverters and batteries, 2 to 5 years on controllers.

Yes, within 14 days of receipt, if it is new, uninstalled and in its original packaging. Ask for a return authorisation number first: a parcel received without one cannot be processed.

Cut-to-length cable, crimped connectors, batteries already commissioned, clearance products sold “as is” and special orders. A defect falls under the warranty, not under a return.

We issue it within three business days of inspecting the return, to the original payment method. Then allow five to ten business days for it to appear on your statement: that delay belongs to your financial institution.

No, we sell online only. We do, however, provide the wiring diagram, the list of mandatory DC protection devices and technical support by phone or email throughout the build.

Yes for the final connection. The Québec Construction Code, Chapter V – Electricity, requires it to be made or verified by a master electrician registered with the CMEQ. It is also a condition of most home insurance policies.

Two to five working days for a complete residential kit once the equipment is on site: one day for the structure and panels, one or two for the technical room and one for testing.

Only with a grid-connected system, through the net metering programme. An off-grid system is by definition not connected: surplus is stored in the battery and then curtailed. We sell equipment for both — tell us your situation.
