Description
For a complete installation, buying connectors individually and tooling separately costs significantly more. This kit gathers everything needed to wire up to ten panels with clean, durable connections.
The crimping pliers have dedicated dies for 2.5, 4 and 6 mm² MC4 contacts. A correct crimp is the only guarantee against the contact resistance that heats a connection and eventually destroys it; universal pliers never produce the proper hexagonal form.
The two release tools are essential: once locked, an MC4 does not separate by hand, which is precisely what you want from it. Plan to keep a pair in the electrical panel for future work.
