Portable Solar System

A complete set in one box: a 10 W / 6 V panel with five metres of wire, a 7500 mAh lithium pack, two 1 W LED lamps and one 3 W lamp, each with three metres of cable. Everything plugs together with no tools and no electrical knowledge.

In practice it lights a hunting camp, a shed or a work shelter for a weekend, and charges the group’s phones from the 5 V USB port. The pack also includes an FM radio, an MP3 player with SD card and a remote. A full charge takes five to six hours of good sun, and an AC charger is supplied so you can leave with the battery already full.

Be realistic about capacity: 7500 mAh of lithium is a handful of watt-hours. This is lighting and phone charging, not enough to run a cooler or a power tool. For that, look at a real battery bank and an inverter.
