Description
The ML4860 covers the essentials without charging for what you do not need. It auto-detects a 12, 24, 36 or 48 V bus, accepts up to 150 V of PV input and delivers 60 A of charge, which is 3200 W of panels on a 48 V system.
Its LCD does not settle for an approximate state of charge: PV voltage and current, battery voltage and current, instantaneous power, daily energy and lifetime total are all shown plainly. That is enough to diagnose 90 % of situations without reaching for a multimeter.
The RS485 port accepts an optional Wi-Fi module or connects the controller to an existing monitoring system. External-probe temperature compensation is included, which matters in our climate where the winter-to-summer swing exceeds 50 °C.
