This inverter turns the 12 V DC of a battery bank into 220 V AC at 50 Hz, with a pure sine wave identical to grid power. It handles 6000 W of surge, enough to start a pump or compressor motor whose inrush current far exceeds its rated draw.
One warning matters: the output is set to the European standard, 220 V at 50 Hz. A North American appliance plugged into it will see too much voltage and too low a frequency. This unit is meant for a shop running imported equipment, or as a replacement in an installation already wired for 220 V.
On a 12 V bank, 3000 W of output means more than 250 A on the DC side. Plan for very heavy battery cable, kept as short as possible, and a DC fuse or breaker sized accordingly between the battery and the inverter. It is the precaution most often skipped and the only one that truly counts.
