Description

The Classic is built in Washington and designed specifically for North American installations subject to wide temperature swings. Its HyperVOC function tolerates an open-circuit voltage above the nominal limit in very cold weather, the situation that trips most controllers on a -30 °C January morning.

With 96 A of charge current, a single unit handles up to 4400 W of panels on a 48 V bus. Its graphic display shows real production curves, and the Ethernet port lets you consult the controller from a browser with no proprietary software.

MidNite designs its products to be repaired: boards are documented, parts available, and the company answers technical questions directly. For a remote installation where a failure means several days without power, that philosophy has concrete value.
