Description
Let us be honest: a PWM controller extracts 15 to 25 % less from a panel than an equivalent MPPT, because it merely chops voltage instead of converting it. On a 1000 W system that gap easily justifies buying an MPPT.
On a 100 or 200 W system, however — a panel charging the battery of a shed, a gate opener or a pond pump — the gap is a few watts and PWM does the job perfectly for a fraction of the price.
This 30 A model handles 12 and 24 V buses, displays battery voltage and charge current, and protects against reverse polarity and overload. We are clearing it at $39 while stock lasts; there will be no more.
