Description
Spending a week boondocking without starting the generator is exactly what this kit makes possible. 400 W recharges a 100 Ah battery in a sunny day and is enough for a compressor fridge, lighting, the pump and device charging.
The included 12 V MPPT controller extracts 20 to 30 % more than a cheap PWM controller, especially in the morning and late afternoon when panel voltage drops. Its display shows incoming power and state of charge in real time, so you can manage consumption knowingly.
The kit includes all wiring: 10 m of 10 AWG PV cable, MC4 connectors, a parallel Y connector, a weatherproof ABS roof entry, a battery fuse and the mounting hardware. Plan half a day for installation on a standard trailer roof.
