This is the kit we install most often in cabins not connected to Hydro-Québec. It produces between 8 and 12 kWh per day depending on the season, enough for a fridge, a freezer, LED lighting, a water pump, device charging and a workstation. It does not replace electric heating: for that, a wood or propane stove remains the right answer.
Everything is included and already sized: six Canadian Solar HiKu6 450 W panels, a 3 kW hybrid inverter-charger with built-in MPPT, a Pylontech US5000 4.8 kWh battery, the combiner box, DC breakers, 40 m of 10 AWG PV cable, MC4 connectors and factory-crimped battery cables. Nothing to chase down mid-install.
Every kit ships with a wiring diagram matched to the configuration, a commissioning checklist and access to Sol-Air Tech technical support by phone at 418-809-9738. The battery is expandable: add a second US5000 module and the system moves to 9.6 kWh without changing the inverter.
The power of intelligent energy management
The panel-battery-inverter ratio was validated on dozens of real installations in Charlevoix and Mauricie. No component is oversized to inflate the invoice.
Combiner box, DC breakers, PV cable, MC4 connectors, crimped battery cables and roof entries: the box literally contains everything but the roof mounts, which depend on your roofing.
A clear plan with fuse ratings, cable lengths and grounding points. This is the document an electrician will ask for at inspection.

Tout était dans la boîte, y compris les longueurs de câble et le schéma. On a monté le système à deux en une fin de semaine. Le frigo, le congélateur et la pompe tournent sans interruption depuis six mois.
