Description

The SPF 5000 ES is the workhorse of our catalogue: rugged, widely deployed, and backed by a parts network that will not vanish in two years. It delivers 5000 W continuous at 48 V with an 80 A MPPT that accepts up to 6000 W of panels.

Its 80 A AC charger recharges the battery bank quickly from a generator through a week of overcast weather. Automatic generator start is set on a state-of-charge threshold, sparing you a trip to the basement at midnight in January.

Source priority is fully configurable: solar first, battery next, external source as a last resort, or any other order. For a cabin installation where you want to maximize solar use without ever going dark, that is exactly the setting you need.
