Description
An FE7-63 series AC breaker rated 40 amps across two poles at 400 volts, for DIN rail.
40 A is the usual rating for a workshop circuit or the output of a mid-size inverter. Across two poles it breaks line and neutral together, cleanly isolating a sub-panel without touching the rest of the building.
Like any AC breaker it must not be used on the DC side: the arc chutes are not designed for a DC arc. Keep it downstream of the inverter. The same frame is available in 63 A if your loads grow.
