Description
An LA-700A industrial stripper for small conductors: 0.5, 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 mm². One squeeze grips the wire, scores the jacket and pulls it off in a single motion.
In a solar installation these sizes are not power wiring but control wiring: battery temperature probes, the RS485 link between controller and inverter, a shunt or bank monitor harness. They are thin conductors that a badly calibrated tool cuts straight through.
The self-adjusting mechanism saves picking a notch for every wire, which matters when there are thirty terminations to make inside an enclosure. The jaws are replaceable once they dull.
