Description

The link between battery and inverter carries 100 to 200 A. A rough crimp or an undersized gauge immediately translates into heating, voltage drop and, at worst, a hot spot.

These 2/0 AWG finely stranded copper cables are hydraulically press-crimped at the factory, then protected with adhesive-lined heat-shrink. The pair includes a red and a black 1 m cable with 3/8 in ring lugs at both ends.

Press-crimped

A hydraulic press compresses the lug over the conductor's full section. Hand pliers leave voids that oxidize and heat up.

Generous gauge

2/0 AWG carries 285 A, well beyond the 200 A a 6 kW inverter can draw. That margin means negligible voltage drop.

Sealed lug transition

Adhesive-lined sleeving seals the lug-to-insulation transition, exactly where moisture normally creeps in to corrode the crimp.
