Description
For a complete residential installation or a ground array, buying by the metre costs more than a full roll. These 150 m amply cover a 6 to 12 kW system, including string wiring and runs to the combiner box.
The cable is identical to what we sell by the metre: 10 AWG tinned copper, double XLPE insulation, RPVU90 certification, rated -40 to +90 °C. The roll ships on a reel with metric marking printed every metre, which greatly simplifies calculating remaining lengths.
On a job site, having a full roll avoids improvised splices, the leading cause of arcing and production loss in an ageing photovoltaic installation.
