Description
The roof penetration is the weak point of any solar installation. That is where water gets in, and a leak in a trailer roof or a cabin ceiling costs infinitely more than the box that would have prevented it.
This low-profile ABS box covers the hole, guides both PV cables inside and seals with butyl around its full perimeter. Rubber grommets grip 6 to 10 mm cables and stop any capillary water rise.
Its rounded profile creates no turbulence at highway speed and it paints easily to match the roofing. Count one box per pair of cables crossing the roof.
