Warranties

The manufacturer’s warranty, handled by us

Every product sold by Sol-Air Tech is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty. We stay your single point of contact: you write to us, we build the file with the manufacturer.

Typical coverage

• Solar panels — 10 to 15 years on the product and up to 25 years on output, depending on the model.
• Hybrid inverters — 5 to 10 years, often extendable through the manufacturer.
• Lithium batteries (LiFePO₄) — 5 to 10 years or a set number of cycles, whichever comes first.
• Charge controllers, breakers, enclosures — 2 to 5 years.
• Cable, MC4 connectors and accessories — 1 year against manufacturing defects.

The exact term appears on each product page and in the manufacturer’s documentation shipped with the goods.

What is not covered

• Installation that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions or the Québec Construction Code.
• Damage from lightning, grid surges, immersion, a discharged battery left to freeze, or use outside the published specifications.
• A battery left in a discharged state for a long period, which voids nearly every manufacturer’s warranty.
• Normal wear, cosmetic marks and consumable parts (fuses, seals).

Filing a claim

Email info@sol-air-tech.com with your order number, the serial number, a description of the problem and, if possible, photos or the inverter logs. We reply within two business days.

Keep your invoice

Your Sol-Air Tech invoice is the proof of purchase manufacturers require. It also stays available at any time under “My orders” in your account.

Legal warranty

These warranties are in addition to the legal warranty under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act, which applies at no cost and cannot be reduced by any clause.
