Accessibility

Our commitment

Solar energy is for everyone, and so is our site. We work to make every page usable for people navigating by keyboard, with a screen reader, at high magnification or with different colour vision.

Target level

We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and test new pages against it before they go live.

What is already in place

• Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator.
• Semantic structure: ordered headings, lists, landmarks and explicit form labels.
• Alternative text on images that carry information, including product photos and diagrams.
• Colour contrast verified on text, buttons and error states.
• A fluid layout that supports 200% zoom without losing content.
• Error messages written out in words, never signalled by colour alone.

Known limitations

Some manufacturer PDF datasheets are not tagged for accessibility, and a few interactive maps remain hard to explore with a screen reader. We are glad to provide the equivalent information by email or phone.
